Diego de Almagro crossed the Mountain to discover Chile. Pedro de Valdivia emulated it to conquer these lands. Soon the "Ejército Libertador" crossed to create a Country and many years later, in 1918 the pilot Dagoberto Godoy was the first one in crossid the mountain range in his faithful Bristol airplane.

Today you can also pass to history crossing in bicycle the great Andean Mountains by the emblematic passage of the Cristo Redentor, arriving to the base of the great Aconcagua, the higher mountain of América.

Do you accept the challenge?

Itinerary:
Day 1: 16:00 hrs. tranfer to Portillo Hotel, dinner and lodging. It's also possible to arrived by your own account at the hotel, where there will be parking.
Day 2: Mt.bike Portillo - Old Tunnel - Inca's Bridge - Horcones Lagoon with the south wall of the Aconcagua. Return to Chile by the Cristo Redentor passage, 4.000 mts. aprox.
Reduction towards Chile by a challenging rout. Brief break at Portillo Hotel. Transfer to Santiago.

Includes: tranfer, lodging and dinner Portillo Hotel (Chalets in front of the Lagoon), supply of fruits and snack, lunch picnic style, support vehicle.
