Aconcagua Mountain 6.959 meters

Located in the Mendoza province, in the heart of the Central Andes in the Argentinean Republic, Aconcagua Mountain rises to its incredible 6959 mts. high make it the highest peak in America. This characteristic plus it’s beauty, makes the world who try to conquer it’s summit every year in Pared Sur Expeditions.
We have developed a complete preparation plan for normal people to who would like to climb this amazing mountain. This is a possible goal but requires a great effort. The secret is the will to want to make it, the right preparation and a good team.

Wonderful passage by the Campos de Hielo Sur (South Ice Fields) surrounding by the West face of Fitz Roy Mountain and the Torre Hill. The emblematic route that the Italian climber Casimiro Ferrari used to accede to the Torre hill by its West face.

The Andean summit of “El Plomo” superimposes itself like a giant dominating the valley of Santiago. Its majestic presence marveled the Inca, whom would hike to the top for rituals and even build stone constructions for human sacrifices.
A mummy found on it’s summit in February 1959 by Luis Gerardo Ríos, a local herds man, confirm the importance of El Plomo to the Incas. Many years have passed and this mountain is still there, grandiose and magical, captivating lovers of the mountain who revere the Inca inherit procession to it’s summit.
