GENERAL CONDITIONS
Who can participate: 
Anyone who loves nature and camping, likes
sports and adventure, enjoys making new friends, and doesn’t have problems
doing without the comforts of civilization can participate in our expeditions.
To participate in an expedition is to experience an adventure in nature,
close to the elements - the sun, the wind, the rain - and to live a
more simple life, close to the earth. For those who don’t share this
spirit we recommend our more gentle Eco-Adventures with stays in hotels.
Included: Guide services directed by Pablo Sepúlveda, camping accommodations in locations with and without facilities (the best locations offered on each route), accommodation at hotels, lodges, and cabins, etc. specified in the program, camping equipment rental (tents for 1, 2, or 3 people, camping mattress, lanterns, eating utensils, portable stools, tables, dining tent, etc.), Pared Sur truck equipped to transfer people and equipment and provide logistical support, all expedition meals (buffet breakfasts, delicious picnic lunches, cocktails, and dinners with Chilean wine), technical and mechanical assistance on mountain bike trips, first aid when required, booking of other services.
Not included: Pared Sur expeditions do not include insurance, meals during transfers and stays in cities at the beginning and the end of an expedition (those meals are in restaurants and are paid for by each participant), unexpected stays in cabins or hotels (for example, a group decision because of rain), optional boat trips and any service that is not clearly stipulated in the program. 
Requirements: Good health, good physical condition, helping with the various tasks during the expedition, obeying the instructions of the guide, avoiding risky situations, using protective gear like helmets and gloves when mountain biking, wearing and using clothes and equipment on the list provided below, reading the programs and conditions of the trips, understanding clearly the characteristics of each expedition, respecting the rules established by Pared Sur.
Care for the Environment:
At Pared Sur, we are very concerned about the environment and thus conduct ourselves in a way that has the minimum impact on it. Deposit garbage only in bags and trash receptacles. Do not throw garbage on the ground. Do not use soap, shampoo, or detergent in rivers, lakes, lagoons, and the sea. Use bathrooms and latrines whenever possible and when camping , hiking, etc. Select damp places that facilitate decomposition and that are away from the campsite and leave it well covered with a log, rock, or earth. Toilet paper should be thrown away in garbage bags.
Payment: 100 % must be paid before departure. We do not accept credit cards and personal checks.
Cancellations, refunds, compensation
and suspensions: In case of a client cancellation, the following refund and compensation schedule is used: 1) Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing. 2) More than 60 days prior to departure: 100% less US$50 for administrative expenses or 100% compensation in other trips. 3) 60 to 30 days prior to departure: 50% of the value of the trip or 100% compensation in other trips. 4) 30 to 0 days prior to departure: 100% compensation in other trips. No dollar refunds. 5) A client who withdraws once the trip has started is not entitled to a refund or compensation. 6) A client who neither presents himself nor submits a notice of cancellation in writing is not entitled to a refund or compensation. 7) If a trip is suspended, clients are entitled to a 100% refund.
Other conditions: 
1) The itineraries of the expeditions are
subject to delay or modifications due to climatic conditions or unforeseeable
events.
2) Any additional expenses are the responsibility of the participant. 3) Every participant is responsible for his/her assigned Pared Sur equipment and is liable for any loss or damage. 4) Pared Sur is not liable for loss or damage of personal items. Neither is it liable for participant accident or injury. 5) In case of participant accident, injury or illness, rescue and medical expenses will be paid by participant. 6) Pared Sur strongly recommends that each participant have a personal accident insurance. 7) Pared Sur reserves the right to publish and exhibit photos, videos, or other graphic material of the expeditions an its participants. |
